Listen to me.
You, who listen to everything.
I see you bend to a friend,
To a neighbour,
To each other.
Yet, I am full of unshed tears,
Of unshared laughter.
I am your child.
Your silent son,
Your waiting daughter.
Listen to me.
Listen to me.
My voice is like the wind
Blowing fom one word
To another.
I tell you things about a world
In which you are a stranger.
I am the street map
To the places I live in.
I am your child.
Your silent son.
Your waiting daughter.
Listen to me.
